The Daily Shoe

Here's the thing about Crocs - people either love them or hate them. I happen to love them and have a couple pairs. They are ridiculously comfy and easy to slip on for a quick trip to the park or the grocery store. But, if you're one of those people who thinks they are hideously ugly and wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of those bulky, plastic, orthopedic-looking clogs, here is the new Venice heeled shoe made by Crocs. Same comfy footbed, much more stylish look! Convinced?

Nervous Reaction

It has come to my attention (i.e. I have recently been ridiculed by Hubby) that I laugh after each sentence when I am talking to certain people. I never really noticed it before, but now that he's pointed it out, I totally notice it and it drives me crazy! I really can't even help it. As far as I can tell, I do it when I am asking someone to do something (i.e. to the nanny: "Can you bring in the girls' stuffed animals from outside?") or when I am talking about an uncomfortable subject (i.e. "Well, where do you think the miscommunication between us was?") or if I am talking to someone that makes me nervous (i.e. "I would be delighted to come in for an interview!"). In any event, my radar is up and I'm gonna try to curb it. have I been unknowingly annoying people all these years?

The Daily Shoe

Inspired by my recent romp on South Beach, here are some funky wedges from Cole Haan. Being old fashioned, I would advise holding off on rocking the white sandal until after Memorial day, but if you're not one to follow the pack, go for it!

Back In The Game

We're baaaack! Spring break in Florida was big fun, if not completely hectic. We started out visiting some friends in Jacksonville and then driving down to Miami to spend the week with all the grandparents. And I mean all. Hubby's parents, my mom and her boyfriend, and my dad and his wife. Just imagine the jam-packed days we had trying to let everyone get their fill of the kids. We did manage to hit the beach a couple times, go swimming in the pool, go fishing, visit Jungle Island and baptize L'il Buddy though. I even squeezed in a job interview. It was was great, but I'm envisioning my next vacation being just us, at an all-inclusive resort on a secluded island, without another family member in sight. I love them though. Really, I do.
